<p>Sunderland Museum & Winter Gardens is an award-winning multidisciplinary Museum in the heart of Sunderland with outstanding permanent art collections including works by artist L.S. Lowry and an exciting programme of national touring art exhibitions.<br></p><p>The Public Engagement and Learning Team deliver a wide range of art activities and projects for children and young people in schools, colleges, community and home learning settings to inspire them to respond creatively to these collections. The Museum is now part of the Arts Council Collection’s National Partners Programme from 2019 – 2022, bringing the best of British modern and contemporary art to Sunderland, with accompanying learning and engagement programmes for children and young people.
