About this Event
This practical session will give primary school teachers and classroom support staff the opportunity to gain a comprehensive view of how creativity and creative thinking can be developed in their classroom through drawing.
This session will cover:
Printing - have fun experimenting with a range of printing techniques.
This session is being delivered free of charge to primary staff in the Redcar and cleveland schools, by The Start Studio, Middlesbrough.

Aims and Objectives
1:00 pm Practical sessions- Visual Arts, Creativity and Printing.
2.45pm How can we develop and evaluate creativity in the classroom using print?
Because of the practical nature of these sessions, places are limited to 30 and will be allocated on a first come first served basis.
Refreshments are provided.
Sara Calgie is the Director of The Start Studio in Middlesbrough as well as a partner in the Tees Valley Creative Learning Partnership (TVCLP.) TVCLP is an organisationthat works with The Paul Hamlyn Foundation, under the Teacher Development Fund programme, to develop creativity and embed it in the curriculum.
She is art school trained as well as being an experienced and qualified primary school teacher, who is passionate and commited to raising the value of arts and supporting primary school teachers to become more confident in delivering quality arts education in schools.
