Stephenson Railway Museum

Stephenson Railway Museum is home to engines and artefacts that tell the story of the North East’s unique railway heritage and the legacy of the great railway pioneers, George and Robert Stephenson. 

The museum has Arts Award Advisers trained from Discover to Silver levels, all of whom can facilitate projects using exhibitions, workshops, tours and talks for all ages and abilities, including those with special educational needs and disabilities.
