Culture Bridge North East and Customs House Arts Award Blogs and Films Call Out November 2022

During our final year of Culture Bridge North East, we would like to celebrate Arts Award centres and practice in the North East, and inspire those who have not yet started their Arts Award journeys. We will do this through a series of blogs, films, and online surgeries over the next five months.

We are looking for Arts Award centres who would like to write a guest blog for us, or are happy to be filmed about their Arts Award practice.

Blogs
• We are looking for blog posts of between 600 – 900 words (and no more than 2 sides of A4).
• We provide some key questions and guidance to support you in writing your blog.
• We can pay £100 for guest blogs.
• Please contact Jane@customshouse.co.uk by Tuesday 29 November with an expression of interest.
• Deadline for completed blogs is Tuesday 10 January.

Films
• We are looking for up to 4 Arts Award Centres to participate in filmed interviews, talking about your Arts Award practice.
• We are particularly interested in hearing from any centres delivering Arts Award in SEND and alternative provision settings.
• We would need a half to a full day at your setting, ideally to interview Arts Award advisers, artists and practitioners, and children and young people where possible.
• You do not need to be delivering currently to take part, but you do need to have had a successful moderation, and have Arts Award as part of your delivery plans, now and in the future.

• Filming would need to take place in December 2022 or January 2023.
