Music at the Heart of Teesdale

Since 2011, M@HoT has worked to research & revive the folk song and dance traditions of SW Durham.

Their in-schools workshops explore folk & traditional music, incorporating key skills development in improvisation, playing by ear & arranging for groups/ensembles. M@HoT also offer folk dance workshops & programmes specialising in Longsword, Morris & Rapper dance.
