Locomotion: The National Railway Museum at Shildon

Educational visits at Locomotion are free. With a large number of exhibits from The UK National Collection of rail vehicles, the museum offers a wide variety of high quality educational packages linked to the national curriculum, that can support Artsmark and Arts Award. Themes include George Stephenson, Timothy Hackworth, The Stockton and Darlington Railway, and Science, Technology, Engineering, and Maths (STEM).
