Amber & Side Gallery

<p>Amber offers a stimulating and diverse Arts Award for primary schools at Discover and Explore levels. Pupils receive an introduction to documentary photography through Discover in a Day, at Side Gallery, while larger Explore level projects include skills training in filmmaking and photography, referencing the region’s cultural, industrial, and social history in the internationally significant AmberSide archive. </p> <p>This innovative approach to learning explores the local environment, and larger<br>projects are celebrated with public film screenings or exhibitions in school or in the project space at Side Gallery.<br></p> <p>Secondary and further education establishments wishing to consider Arts Award Bronze or above are also welcome to get in contact.</p>
