In this hands on workshop with Little Angel Theatre, teachers, educators and facilitators will learn how to craft a puppet using easily accessible recycled materials and tools that are affordable and kind to the environment. The workshop will show participants how to bring the puppet to life and how to use puppetry to talk about the environment.
This session will equip you with the tools and knowledge you need to share your newly developed skills with colleagues, students and audience members. The free to watch online series Bertie can be used to enhance this workshop when sharing and teaching.
Bertie is a seven episode environmental and education entertainment series for children aged 3 - 8 which supports earning about the environment, as part of PSHE and Citizenship. All puppets and set have been designed and made using found and recycled materials. Little Angel Theatre are committed to environmental sustainability in their actions as well as in their content.
