Stockton Library & Heritage Service

The aim of Stockton Library & Heritage Service is to provide a quality, relevant, accessible, and modern service which is responsive to the needs and lifestyles of its users. It works with schools and cultural organisations to provide opportunities for children and young people working towards Art Award, including bespoke sessions in the library, and annual projects such as Stockton Children’s Book of the Year, the Northern Children’s Book Festival, Crossing the Tees book festival, and Stockton Junior Storytellers.

There are also regular visits from authors, illustrators, and poets and events and
activities throughout the year that can be part of an Arts Award.
