Preston Park Museum & Grounds

Preston Park Museum and Grounds has a varied collection representing the diverse history of Stockton on Tees. The learning programme focuses on the local and social history of Stockton, including the art and photography of the local heroes of the Victorian era, the Saxons, Vikings, World War One and World War Two. There is a minibeasts offering, and all of these topics link to many curriculum areas, with resources and activities for all ages. The museum also has a huge range of theme boxes for hire to school groups, full of original and replica objects to inspire work towards Artsmark or Arts Award. As well as a comprehensive workshop offer, tailored projects can be created, including outreach support
