National Glass Centre

<p>National Glass Centre provides educational and creative workshops to children and young people in glass, ceramics, screen printing, architecture, and a variety of other craft disciplines. Its learning programme explores art and design,&nbsp;science and technology, and the heritage of glassmaking in Sunderland, and its changing exhibition programme is used as inspiration for activity.<br></p><p>Regular demonstrations allow visitors to view live glass blowing by skilled artists and master glass blowers. Links with the University of Sunderland’s glass and ceramics programme allow&nbsp;visitors the chance to meet emerging artists working at the forefront of their discipline, using cutting-edge&nbsp;technology and materials.</p>
