The Maltings Trust

The Maltings Trust is a nationally recognised centre of excellence operating over 3 sites in Berwick-upon-Tweed. They deliver over 600 events, screenings, workshops and exhibitions each year working across live arts, visual arts and film. They work with school teachers to deliver Arts Award Discover and Explore and host the Berwick Arts Award Discover Trail https://www.berwickartsaward.com/.

They can also support schools on their Artsmark journey. We host the North Northumberland Creative Schools Cluster with termly meetings that are open to all school teachers and colleagues. The sessions aim to build partnerships between schools, artists and cultural organisations and offer CPD opportunities for teachers.
